Information we collect
- Account details such as name, phone number, email and area.
- Tutor verification documents including identification and academic certificates.
- Tuition requirement details posted by guardians.
- Basic usage data such as pages visited and device type.
How we use information
- To match guardians with suitable tutors and to verify tutor identity.
- To provide guardian care support, confirmations and replacements.
- To send service updates, and marketing messages you can opt out of at any time.
- To improve the platform and prevent misuse.
Sharing
- Limited profile information is shared with a guardian when a tutor applies to their job, and with a tutor when a match is proposed.
- We share data with service providers who help us operate the platform, and where the law requires it.
- We do not sell personal information.
Meta (Facebook) advertising and analytics
- We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to understand how visitors interact with the website after seeing or clicking a Facebook or Instagram ad.
- Data sent to Meta may include page views, form submissions, tutor registrations, contact clicks, job applications and payment submissions. It may also include a hashed email address or phone number, plus browser identifiers such as _fbp and _fbc when available.
- Tracking is switched off for visitors in Europe, the UK and Switzerland, and for anyone whose country we cannot detect, because those regions require prior consent and this site does not show a cookie banner.
- You can limit ad personalisation through your Facebook ad preferences and your browser's do-not-track settings.
Retention
- We keep account information while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal and record-keeping needs.
Your choices
- You can review and update your profile at any time, unsubscribe from marketing messages, or request account deletion by contacting support.
Security
- Access to personal information is restricted to staff who need it, and verification documents are stored with restricted access.
Children
- Accounts are for adults. Where a student is a minor, a parent or guardian manages the account and consents to the processing described here.
